El pasado 18 de diciembre, Jesusito de mi vida recibió el Primer Premio en el 5º Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Le Trottoir in Corto, que se celebró en Milán (Italia) del 15 al 18 de diciembre de 2010. El cortometraje cierra el año 2010 con un total de 42 premios, 34 de ellos obtenidos en festivales internacionales.
De cara al 2011, ya está confirmada su participación en 8 festivales, entre los que destacan el Festival Internacional de Cine de Beloit (Wisconsin, EE.UU), que tendrá lugar a mediados de febrero, y el Festival de Cine Reel Shorts (Alberta, Canadá), que se celebrará a principios de mayo. Last December 18, Dear Child Jesus (Jesusito de mi vida) received the First Prize at the 5th International Short Film Festival Le Trottoir in Corto, that took place in Milan (Italy) on December 15-18, 2010. The short film wraps up 2010 with a total amount of 42 awards, 34 of them coming from international festivals.
With a view to 2011, eight more festivals are already confirmed, among them the Beloit International Film Festival (Wisconsin, USA), celebrating in mid February, and the Reel Shorts Film Festival (Alberta, Canada), taking place in early May. More information in www.jesusitodemivida.info.
Jesusito de mi vida consigue el Gran Premio en la Muestra de Cine Amateur de Kvarner (KRAF), que se ha celebrado en Rijeka (Croacia), del 3 al 4 de diciembre de 2010. Mejor resultado imposible para su estreno en este país.
El galardón lo comparte con otros tres cortos españoles: Carta de Francia de Diego López Cotillo, La Cinta de Jorge Rodrigo, y La Melodía de Natalie Kerman. ¡Enhorabuena a todos! Esto demuestra la gran acogida del cortometraje español en el extranjero, y en concreto, en este festival croata.
La muestra, que debe su nombre a la bahía de Kvarner, está organizada por el Cine Club Liburnija desde 1969. Este año ha celebrado su 41ª edición y es el evento de este tipo de más antigüedad en Croacia. Más información sobre la muestra y el palmarés de esta edición en su página web.

Dear Child Jesus (Jesusito de mi vida) gets the Grand Prize at the Kvarner Amateur Film Review (KRAF), that took place in Rijeka (Croatia), on December 3-4, 2010. Mejor resultado imposible para su estreno en este país.
This award is shared with other three Spanish short films: Letter From France by Diego López Cotillo, The Tape by Jorge Rodrigo, and The Melody by Natalie Kerman. Congratulations to all! This proves the great reception of Spanish short films abroad, and particularly in this Croatian festival.
The event, named after the Kvarner bay, is organized by the Liburnija Film Club since 1969. This year it celebrated its 41st edition, yet this is the oldest event of this kind in Croatia. Jesusito de mi vida obtuvo el Segundo Premio al Mejor Cortometraje en Cortogenial 2010, el Certamen de Cortometrajes de Puente Genil (Córdoba), que celebró su 1ª edición del 25 al 27 de noviembre de 2010. La proyección de los trabajos se realizó en Alta Definición en el Teatro Circo, un edificio emblemático de la localidad cordobesa. Dear Child Jesus (Jesusito de mi vida) won the Second Prize to the Best Short Film in Cortogenial 2010, the Short Film Competition of Puente Genil (Córdoba), that celebrated its 1st edition on November 25-27, 2010. The works were screened in High Definition at the Circus Theater, an emblematic building of this town. All the information and the winners of Cortogenial 2010, in its website.
Jesusito de mi vida recibió dos premios en el 3er Certamen Nacional de Cortometrajes Posivideo, que tuvo lugar en Aguadulce (Almería), del 13 al 16 de noviembre de 2010:
- Tercer Premio al Mejor Cortometraje (ex aequo con Porque hay cosas que nunca se olvidan de Lucas Figueroa).
- Y Mención Especial a la Mejor Interpretación Infantil, por el trabajo de Guillermo Estrella.
El certamen se presentó posteriormente en Madrid, en el Centro Cultural de Villaverde, con la proyección de algunos de los cortos participantes y la entrega del premio ‘Fundación Inquietarte’ para mujeres cineastas. Podéis consultar el palmarés de Posivídeo 2010 y más información en su Facebook.

Dear Child Jesus (Jesusito de mi vida) won two awards at the 3rd Posivideo National Short Film Competition, that took place in Aguadulce (Almería, Spain), on November 13-16, 2010:
- Third Prize to the Best Short Film (shared with Because there are things you never forget by Lucas Figueroa).
- And Special Mention to the Best Child Performance, for the work of Guillermo Estrella.

Jesusito de mi vida ha ganado el Premio del Jurado Joven, otorgado por los estudiantes de la Facultad de Comunicación de la Universidad Pontificia Salesiana de Roma, en el Religion Today Film Festival. Un festival temático que busca potenciar el diálogo entre el cine y las religiones, y que ha celebrado su 13ª edición en Trento (Italia), del 2 al 21 de octubre.

Dear Child Jesus (Jesusito de mi vida) won the Young Jury Award, given by students of the Salesian Pontifician University of Rome’s School of Communication, at the Religion Today Film Festival. An event dedicated to dialogue between cinema and religions, that celebrated its 13th edition in Trento (Italy), on October 2-21.

Jesusito de mi vida ha ganado el Premio al Mejor Actor (Guillermo Estrella) en Cortonogara 2010 (Italia). La sexta edición de este festival italiano dio comienzo el pasado mes de julio, con proyecciones en la ciudad de Vigonovo, y se clausuró el 16 de octubre en Camponogara. Tras la entrega de premios, se proyectaron los siete cortometrajes ganadores ante el público asistente. El palmarés de la edición 2010 se publicará pronto en la web del festival.

Jesusito de mi vida won Best Actor (Guillermo Estrella) in Cortonogara 2010 (Italy). This Italian festival begun its sixth edition last July, with screenings in the city of Vigonovo, and ended on October 16 in Camponogara. After the award giving ceremony, the seven winning short films were screened to the public. The list of winners of the 2010 edition will be soon in the festival’s website.

El jurado del 8º Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Malcine, que se celebró en Maldonado (Uruguay) del 15 al 17 de octubre, decidió otorgarle una Mención Especial :

The jury of the 8th Malcine International Short Film Festival, celebrated in Maldonado (Uruguay) on October 15-17, decided to give Dear Child Jesus a Special Mention:
“For its fine editing, that manages to express with quality and accuracy the feelings of the story, by jointing all the shots in balance with the mise en scène.”
